THINGS I REALLY, REALLY MUST HAVE
February Edition
I love winter in California for so many reasons, the highest ranking being the winter color palette of ivory/blush/nude/silver/mint, my birthday, Valentine’s Day hearts, and the perfect spring weather. So, I’ve done it again; I collected an internet list of one million (or maybe 12-20) things I wanted to buy, only to purchase most of them before the the compilation was over. Why? Because this time I really, really, really had to have these!
Check. Check. Check.
1. ‘Vegas’ Limited Edition Ruffle Bandage Bodycon Dress from CelebBoutique $236

Ladies and Gentlemen, I am in heaven! Remember Herve Leger’s infamous nude, ruffled BodyCon from the Spring 2011 campaign… y’know, the one which sold for more money than I had in my checking account in Spring of 2011 (first picture, on left)? Well, my friends, Celeb Boutique has released a limited edition nude, ruffled BodyCon dress “inspired” (that’s a euphemism for making a pretty identical replica) by that perfect Herve Leger dress. And the best part? It’s less than one-tenth the $4,900 price tag of the Herve Leger dress, selling at $236. I snagged this one as my birthday present this year.
2. Jeffrey Campbell Cleata (Clear Lita) in Nude from Solestruck $159.95

My newest and most favorite Jeffrey Campbell’s ever are the Cleata’s (Clear Lita’s) in nude! They are so beautiful and make Lita’s look so much more fancy and romantic—like strappy, peekaboo platform heels, rather than edgy ankle-boots. I ADORE.
3. Wildfox Roses One-Piece from Wildfox $150

YES. My Wildfox obsession is eternally satisfied each time I see yet another item I want to get from them. This one-piece is the perfect solution to my endless desire to combine romantic/feminine pieces with comfort. Plus, the low back makes it easily translatable from day-time casual to night-time glamazon. WIN.
4. Michael Kors iPhone Wristlet in Metallic Gold from Michael Kors $79.95

Michael Kors iPhone Wristlet in metallic gold is pretty darn perfect. I had been meaning to get this since it first came out, but I waited too long and now it is sold out in this color. I’ve seen a few knock-off sites carry this color and others I am interested in (like white and pink), but I’m crossing my fingers that it ends up on eBay.
5. Fenhong Mint Green Wool Coat from Fashion4Us $166.71

I adore Japanese Fashion. But more than that, I adore Dolls— and the Japanese brand Fenhong makes so many doll-like clothing items. I want them ALL! And mark my words: I will buy most of their collection. My latest Fenhong obsession is this mint green wool coat. I want to tease and curl my hair and wear this coat out paired with a cute dress, white lace tights, metallic gold JC Lita’s and long, thick false lashes. Please, please, please, please.
6. Sweets Spikes Necklace in Silver and in Gold from Forever 21 $8.80

Look at these! These necklaces have the spikes that I am forever obsessed with, and fashion PEARLS! I tend to like antique gold/brass more than silver, but the silver one looks like it would be perfectly paired with my white, spiked JC Litas. Agree? Agree.
7. On A Whim Silk Tunic Top in Peach from Forever 21 $22.80

This peach/blush crepe-silk tunic top is absolutely gorgeous. The crochet lace neckline is my absolute favorite part. This tunic actually came out for winter of 2011, and I got one right away. Now, I really, really want to have a second once for safe-keeping. I ordered a size higher in order to give it more length and to make for it to fit like a baby doll/tunic dress— I adore it. The length and fit is perfect for a baby doll tunic. To dress it down, I wear it with denim shorts and flat, knee-high boots. To make it more dress-like, I belt it and pair it with heels. LOVE.
8. Corduroy Circle Skirt in Peach and in Creme from American Apparel $45

I think I have included nearly every different color of American Apparel’s corduroy circle skirts in my must-have lists, but this time around I want the peach and creme colors. These skirts are seriously the fanciest-looking, casual attire ever— which is why I love them. They are so comfortable and they look really cute. These are eternally on my wishlists.
9. Fenhong Ruffled-Collar Shirt/Dress from Fashion4Us $84.45

Meow, Meow, Meow. Here is yet another J-Fashion item from Fenhong I could see myself strolling around it. It’s part Doll, part Lolita, part Japanese popstar. WANT.
10. Wildfox White Cat One-Piece from Wildfox $150

So, what is my favorite animal ever, in the whole wide world? White kitties! (Although I suppose I have a nearly equal amount of love for albino hummingbirds, white huskies, and white maltese puppies). Any way, Wildfox has got me in love yet again. The second I say this one-piece I knew I would own it eventually. I just can’t resist white kitties! I can totally see myself lounging in this with a pair of peach crochet shorts…
11. Crochet Shorts in Peach from Victoria’s Secret $49.50

Ohmygod, yes! See, I can totally pair this with the White Cat one-piece from Wildfox and hit the beach— or anywhere because the weather is fabulous in SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA.
12. Delicate Goddess Chain Headwrap from Urban Outfitters $24

I adore headbands like these. They look so romantic on long hair. I think my obsession with these circlet like head-dressings comes from my love of Aphrodite/Venus, the Goddess of Love, as I pictured her after reading Greek and Roman mythology. Yet another must have.
13. Naven Party Dress in Turquoise from Singer 22 $369

I only recently discovered Naven off of the Singer 22 website, and I am really enjoying all of their cute dresses. This turquoise one is my favorite. I absolutely love the backless style and the bubble skirt. Also, it just has such a clean look to the bodice. This is totally the type of dress I would wear out to classy functions and then to enjoy the night scene.
14. Jason Wu for Target® Blouse with Tie in Blush Dots from Target

Besides the obvious fact that every piece in the Jason Wu for Target collection is amazing, this top has me absolutely smitten. However, it is nowhere to be found at the Target stores in my area. I am waiting to either buy it on eBay, or hear back from people in less fashion-consumed cities to score myself one of these beauties.
