SEASON 5 . EPISODE 08

(Written by & Starring Felicia Day | Distributed by Xbox Live and Microsoft | Sponsored by Sprint)

I’m back again as Tink’s twin sisters Lara and Tara for The Guild’s Episode 08: “Social Traumas”! And this episode is my big episode for three reasons:

1) You get to see a whole lot of Lara and Tara (complete with annoyances!);

2) You see the twins interacting with Codex, Tink, and each other; and

3) Take a good look at the people I share ‘Also Starring’ credit space with:

What an honor!

SEASON 5 . EPISODE 07

(Written by & Starring Felicia Day | Distributed by Xbox Live and Microsoft | Sponsored by Sprint)

If you haven’t been keeping up with Season 5 of The Guild, go ahead and do it. You will love it!  The season is now on its seventh episode.

In The Guild’s Episode 07: “Downturn”, I (we?) show up once again! And this time, you finally find out exactly who my characters are in The Guild (and why Tinkerballa was so eager to steer clear from us at the party).

So, did you catch it?

I am Lara and Tara! Tink’s annoying and blonde identical twin sisters.

Keep watching!

SEASON 5 . EPISODE 05

(Written by & Starring Felicia Day | Distributed by Xbox Live and Microsoft | Sponsored by Sprint)

I am so excited to now officially announce that
I have joined the cast of The Guild for Season 5

Episode 05: “Focus Problems”  is my debut episode on The Guild. I am so proud to be a part of this season!  I am really excited for this episode, and am especially excited for future episodes (both for the ones I am in and the ones I am not in too).  Felicia Day really knows what she is doing and I promise this season is jam-packed with awesome.  So, what are you waiting for? Hit ‘play’ above and watch episode 05— and then keep watching season 5.

If, after watching this episode, you’ve come to the conclusion that I am an obnoxious dancer, you are correct. [Side Note #1: Lessons, anyone? There’s more where that came from. ;) Side Note 2: Hahahah. I’m glad I don’t actually dance like this, but at the same time I almost wish I did.]

You’ve also probably learned three important things about me and my character(s):
1) I am two different characters;
2) Tink is trying to run away from us (me?); and
3) I am the best dancer in the world
(Okay, maybe I am like in the top 4 in the world…provided the world be looked at from a sample size that is a .15 mile radius around you at a party and depending which party you are at.)

But in all seriousness, I am so glad to see that that my hardcore/in-the-zone dance moves are as intense and insane (and maybe even hilarious) as the moment warranted.

There I am!

My journey to becoming a part of the cast was one of those things that never happens. Do remember that crazy story I was dying to tell you about? I went from being a fangirl of The Guild→ to a cosplaying extra→ to a stand-in on the set→ to being hired by Felicia Day as a cast member and getting to act alongside people I respect and admire. Oh, and it happened in two working days.  I promise to tell you as much as I can in these posts tagged ‘The Guild’, but I’ll leave the rest of the story to the pros in the behind the scenes footage and the podcast: Felicia Day, Kim Evey, Brian KameokaThe Bui Brothers,  Kenny from the Knights of the Guild Companion Podcast  and all the other awesome people. Stay tuned.

SEASON 5 . EPISODE 04

Today the first episode that I appear in as extra is out! Everyone should check out the episode. Also, here are some awesome screencaps where you can see me (or at least bits and pieces of me).

At about 1:31 I am barely in, in the line. Hahaha! The tiniest bit of my face is seen here.

At about 3:03 I am seen in a reddish shirt walking away.

And at 3:27 I am the background laughing!

I even got to be in the credits for this!

So you remember all the crazy stuff in the leslie-verse that I was talking about? Well, this is where it starts.

Yes. STARTS.

[Flash 9 is required to listen to audio.]

SEASON 5

While on the set of The Guild as an extra, I did a fan interview with the awesome Kenny of the Knights of the Guild Podcast! Tune in!

SEASON 5

Wouldn’t it be great if every redhead became a blonde? —No?! Okay, okay.

But crazy things are happening all around my leslie-verse.  In particular, there is this crazy story about The Guild and Felicia Day maybe possibly wearing a blonde wig, or maybe possibly going blonde, or maybe possibly— I am dying to tell you! But I can’t… yet. I guess I will just have to tell you in six months.

Or as it happens.

SEASON 5

Being an extra on the set of The Guild is A+ quality fun.

I arrived at the designated shoot location freaking out that I was just barely on time, and found myself in a lobby area full of people in costume. My first thought was that this was definitely my kind of gathering.

Once there, I changed into one of the two Blood Elf costumes I had brought and, once I was in cosplay, the conversations began rolling.

I met so many awesome cosplayers and the awesome Brian Kameoka (Marketing Coordinator for The Guild, and the fearless leader of the extras :p)!

I had the opportunity to participate in a few scenes and have a fan girl moment with Felicia Day in— of all places— the ladies’ room, getting to meet & greet her after she complimented my cosplay.

In the end, it was a long day which felt like a party in costume with really fun people and free food (the best miniature subs you’ve ever had, yo!).

And guess what? I get to go back and do it all over again!

SEASON 5

I am super excited. Super, super excited. As you may know, I am an MMO afficionado, I love to cosplay, and I am a huge fan of the webseries The Guild.  Since Season 5 is set to take place at a convention, a casting call was sent out for Cosplayers to participate as extras.

I applied immediately.

I have now received the email from the mighty Brian Kameoka:

I am going to be an extra on The Guild!
